The Story So Far...
Well, I arrived at uni on 29th September 2002 avec mon pere; the sunny county of Devon. The Halls of Residence had issues when it came to preparing food:
1) Homity Pie... Had a piece of grit in it (about 0.7cm x 0.7cm)
2) Pudding.... Had a large chunk of plastic in it.
3) Vegetarian stuffed peppers... I'm allergic to nuts, they didn't label that there were peanuts in the peppers and there weren't any other vegetarian options available. Plus there were mashed swede and carrots that tasted like granny farts. Mmm nice...
Somehow I managed to survive! After Halls, I stayed with a bunch of friends in a lovely house with a crazy landlady. After this, I moved in with Simon and thence we moved away from Exwick (awful, awful area of Exeter, don't move there!) to Pennsylvania. We're living in a wonderful house with his brother, Pat and we're loving every minute!
Si and I are waiting for our mortgage application to go through, but otherwise we're basically buying a house of our very own - how grown up!
